Washington Kids Count

KIDS COUNT Data Center
http://datacenter.kidscount.org/

The KIDS COUNT Data Center is an on-line data system with comprehensive sets of indicators of child and family wellbeing. This system is maintained by the Anne E. Casey Foundation. The website allows users to access national, state-by-state, and local data. Washington-specific county level data are updated by Washington KIDS COUNT. Indicators of demography, education, health and economic wellbeing and safety and risky behaviors are currently available for Washington counties. Washington KIDS COUNT puts together data from federal sources such as the Census bureau, and local sources such as health departments, human services agencies, and schools. The KIDS COUNT Data Center can be a powerful new tool for community leaders, policymakers, service providers, parents and others who want to take a closer look at the local factors that affect the lives of children and families in Washington.
